The new cassette from Baltimore’s Twig Harper actively evades an easy explanation. Filled with punctuations of madness bookended by moments of sparse calm. At times it can sound like a swarm of orchestral bees descending and crashing into your skull. Between climaxes the scattered sounds linger in piles moaning with guttural burps and hypnotic wheezes. This chaotic score will no doubt swirl around you while cinematic images project on the wall of your mind cave.
